DREAM and NYC Health welcome all, ages 12 and up, to receive the first-shot COVID-19 vaccine! Both DREAM and NYC Health are joining forces to administer the first-shot of the Pfizer vaccine via a mobile clinic.
This event will take place at 1991 Second Avenue on July 29th and 30th from 7:30AM to 6:00PM. For recipients ages 12 to 15, a parent or guardian's presence is required. When at the clinic, recipients between the aforementioned ages will be provided with consent forms. Recipients ages 16 to 17 must provide the clinic with a handwritten note clearly displaying parental consent. If you are eighteen and over, you don't need anybody's permission to get the vaccine because you're grown grown.
As a little word of advice, get the vaccine. I know many are scared of the possible health ramifications that may follow. But I am here to tell you as a teenager, a daughter, a sister, a niece, a grandchild, a best friend and as someone who suffers from asthma, that you should not let the possible outcome of receiving the vaccine to compromise the health of others and more importantly, yourself. Just Do It!
