Hi EDW folks! Summer opportunities are among us and you know the Ed and Workforce team has your back! Check out the following opportunities that are upcoming:
We are still recruiting for SYEP:
Looking for summer work? We're still have quite a few slots left for those who may be interested! Our program is focused on community health and wellness, so participants are placed at various businesses and organizations that promote healthy lifestyle choices in the communities they serve. Participants receive training to prior to their placement and support from the Isaacs Center while they complete their employment. After the summer is completed, we stay in contact with our SYEP participants to offer support with next steps (employment, college, vocational). All of our SYEP participants are eligible for our scholarship program where we offer participants up to $4,000 toward their post-secondary educational expenses. See below for info on how to apply.
