Self life is developing a balanced, healthy, and respectful relationship with yourself. Nobody will love you the way you love you.
Why is self love important?
It’s important to practice self love so that you teach others how you should be loved/treated. When you acknowledge your worth; not only will others relay that same energy but you’ll be able to reciprocate that love back. Self love can mean and look different for many people. Overall it’s about forming a healthy well-being and happy relationship with yourself by putting you first.

One thing I always say when giving advice, “if you don’t love yourself, how do you expect others to love you?” Whenever I asked that, it’s a broad question; and only one answer. You cannot expect the little thing curiosity from another if you don’t even show that for yourself. Treating yourself poorly will allow one to think it’s ok for them to treat you poorly as well. One misconception people have, is that self love is about relationships. Self love is relationships with family, friends, and significant others. Even if you have nobody, that’s the beauty of self-love. You have to learn how to love yourself as if nobody else will. Create an independent and love for yourself that way when you internet with people it’ll last longer.
