The pictures above are of the loves of my life: Diamond (the grey cat), Penny (the mostly white cat) and Apple-White (the ginger cat). I know what you're thinking. Who gave these cats there fantastic names? Well that would be me! I named all, but Penny. It's a shame because I really wanted to name her whitey with black spots. But, fate had other plans and I'm glad that it did
These cats mean to world to me and they are a big part of the reason why I would love to take care of animals for the rest of my life. The first cat we got was Penny. She was a stray, but that's all in her past now. I have had her since I was 10. She only loves me when she wants some ice cold water🤦🏽♀️.
Diamond, if you couldn't tell, is my cat. We have had her for almost seven year since she was a kitten and we have grown up together ever since. She has seen me at my worst and at my best. I swear to you that we would fight as though she is human and seconds later we're back to loving each other again🙄🥰.
Last but not least, there is Apple-White! We have had him since 2016. My family and I look after stray cats in our neighboorhood and one of them called "Tiger" happened to be Apple-White's mom. When we found out she was pregnant, we took her in and keep her in our basement. In a few days, she had a liter of 4 and out came Apple-White. Now let me example to you my relationship with Apple-White. If I want a laugh and I feel a bit mischievous, which I often do, I turn to Apple-White. I make fun of his weight. I scare him. I bother him. Anything annoying that you can think of, I do to him. I bother him so much that bothering him has become part of my daily routine at this point.🤣
But all jokes aside, these animals play an enormous role in my life. I get up in the morning, excited to see my cats. These lovely creatures are the ones who inspired me to become a veterinarian👩🏽⚕️. When I become one, it would all be from them❤️!
