Hello, my name is Daemena. I’m currently a senior college student that enjoys to play video games, watch anime or K-dramas in my free time. This will be my second summer working with Stanley Isaacs. My first summer was in 2019 where I got to learn so much on how to be a health ambassador, basics of community health, and the basics of health care laws and regulations (for ex: HIPPA). I returned to Isaccs for a second summer because they taught me that health care is not just about being a nurse or doctor, health care has a full range of careers that also change and impact people’s lives just like doctors and nurse do. My favorite part about 2019 summer at Isaacs was collaborating in a team to serve as health ambassadors for health care company’s around Harlem at a health fair.
