My name is Jared Stephens, but you can call me Skrew. I'm a 24 year old visual artist born and raised in NYC. In this blog post, I'll give you a glimpse into my world as a visual artist and determined individual working towards obtaining my GED at the Isaacs Center.
As a visual artist one of the mediums I use is Film photography. I've been shooting since I was about 15-16 years old. The process of shooting on film allows me to slow down, be intentional, and truly appreciate the art in each moment.
In addition to film photography, I also have a deep passion for creating music videos, films, and visualizers. I enjoy putting together different types of footage to create a vibe or tell a story. Each video project is a new opportunity for me to explore different styles, experiment with new techniques, and push the boundaries of my own creativity.
While pursuing my artistic endeavors, I'm also dedicated to furthering my education. I am currently enrolled at the Isaacs Center, working towards getting my GED. Even though I am here trying to get my GED, it's also about my own personal growth and expanding my horizons. I'm fully determined to expand my knowledge and create at better future for myself.
