Lets face it going through a pandemic is tough, especially having to stay indoors for extended periods of time. Which makes Health and Wellness really important. Health and Wellness is the welling being of your physical, mental, social life. Many of us are busy with school, work, internships and etc. that we have little to no time to ourselves to recharge. Whos socially battery has drained out before? Raise hands, lol. I'm definitely waving my hand in the air. That sometimes happens because we may have not been giving ourselves enough self care time.


Part of Health and Wellness is self care. Self care can look different for many people, maybe its running a bubble bath and watching a movie or book, getting your nails or hair done, lighting a candle and trying to learn a new hobby, whatever works for you. I personally practice self care by choosing one day out of the week to do something for myself, where I dont have to read or respond to emails (unless their super important), I disregard all ( not all some) of my regular priorities and focus and reflect on myself and my well being. Some of the things I do during this time is reorganize my week/write down all the things I need to do in a week , and organize my desk. And honestly take a shower change into some comfy pajamas and binge watch all my shows that I have been dying to watch since the semester started.
